Born in Lahore in 1963, Moni Mohsin studied at Lahore and later at Cambridge University. She returned to Lahore after her graduation and initially worked for an environmental agency. She then joined The Friday Times (Pakistan`s first independent weekly newspaper). She moved to London in 1995 and lives there with her husband and two children. Moni is currently working on her second novel.
