A writer based in Kathmandu, Ajit Baral has contributed to numerous magazines and newspapers within and outside Nepal. He co-edited New Nepal, New Voices, an anthology of Nepali short stories in English. He edits Read, a magazine, and helps run Fine Print, a publishing house in Nepal. He also coordinates the literary page for Dainiki, a Nepali daily. A collection of his interviews of international writers, Interviews across Time and Space, was published in 2007.
