Shazia Omar is a social psychologist. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Dartmouth, and then worked for a year as an investment banker in New York. After three years of travelling, visiting ashrams and learning yoga, she completed a master’s at the London School of Economics. Shazia is a member of Writer’s Block Bangladesh. She works at a development agency and teaches pilates. She lives with her family in Dhaka.
